Today as a special treat for Father's day we went up to the site and we made FIRE!
T1 & T2 used their scouting skills to create a fire, while my husband used a metal bin from one of the piles of fly-tipping to use as a brazier. I can't say that we managed to burn a lot (we didn't start till quite late in the afternoon) but we did manage to burn, from the deposited rubbish, a couple of doors, a table & chair.
Next weekend we will make more of a thing of it and take the Smokey Joe and have hot dogs (and maybe some marshmallows too?)
