Well my feet haven't touched the ground this last month. If it wasn't school concerts, carol services, Christmas shopping....it was meetings with plumbers & electricians etc. First fix has started and it has certainly been busy. Despite the work now progressing inside the temperatures plummeted to well below zero for much of the first half of December. I did feel sorry for the guys especially when our outside tap froze (our only source of water for the much needed coffees.)

The roof on the study end of the house is now finished, just the weather boarding and brick plinth to go.
I am loving our front porch - next year at this time, hopefully decorated with a lovely Christmas wreath and twinkling fairy lights?
